Story:

Madeleine Valois is a the guard of Prince Oscar, the both of them traveled to another kingdom for her prince to court a princess. When everything is going smoothly between her prince and the princess, the princess suddenly got kidnapped. Wanting his prince to win the heart of the princess, she, her prince and the brother of the princess traveled to look for the missing princess. They found her safe and sound but when they went back to the palace, Madeleine was accused of kidnapping the princess making her sent to the dungeon.

Characters:

Name: Madeleine Valois

She is a very clever woman who was born from a noble family but unfortunately, she is the eldest which makes her nothing special in society. Her first priority in mind is the welfare and  status of her prince, Oscar.

Name: Prince Oscar

A very kind hearted prince who always see the good side of others. He might not be good at fighting but his smile will make other people let their guard down. He seems to be in love with Madeleine but never voiced it out before for he is afraid that he might break what they have right now.

Name: Prince Callum

The brother of Princess Cassidy. He is seen to be violent but deep inside he is a good man. He is searching for his missing brother Caspian who was deemed dead from a mysterious illness.

Name: Prince Nazagi

A prince from another kingdom who also traveled far for the hand in marriage of Princess Cassidy. They say that he is a vampire or something like that.

Name: Prince Gaston

Also a prince from another kingdom who traveled for Princess Cassidy's hand in marriage. He always says something dramatic which makes other people uncomfortable but he is a good man who trusts other easily.

Game Review:

Oscar tried to pursue Princess Cassidy like Madeliene had instructed him but he cannot lie to his feelings. So he send a letter to Madeleine to convey his feelings, attached to the letter is a necklace which fancied Madeleine. It's up to the players if they will choose to wear the necklace or not. She went to a hidden corridor in which she meets Prince Callum, they talked for a little and then she saw Oscar happily dancing with Cassidy. Her heart tightens but she thought that this was right. After a while, a news broked that Cassidy was kidnapped while being with Oscar, so they suspected Oscar. Oscar said that he was hit from behind and lost consciousness so he doesn't know anything. Madeleine wants to free Oscar from being suspected so she tries to find the princess, she mets a page named Dolores and helps gives her a key to a nobles room for a price. When she returned, she was suddenly attacked by a person in which she fights back. To her surprise, it was Prince Callum who was threatening Madeleine to work with him and to find his sister or else he will hurt Oscar. Madeleine has no choice so she agreed which angered Oscar. Callum has a ransom letter from the kidnapper and he needs people he can trust with him if anything goes wrong so he decided upon on Madeleine. They went to take money and went back. Oscar insisted to go with them so the three of them went to the sewer to escape the palace. In here I laughed when a spider surprised Callum and Oscar is saying sarcastic words to him. When they reached outside, they rested for a while. Madeleine will choose if she goes talk to Callum or Oscar. The next day, they reached the destination and found out that the one who took Cassidy is Dolores. Her plan failed and was captured by them. Cassidy wakes up from slumber and points out that the one who took her in custody in the first place is Callum. Callum confesses that he's the one who hit Oscar from behind and took Cassidy. He locked her up in his bedroom and went away for a second, when he returned Cassidy was gone. It seems that Dolores saw Cassidy all tied up and took the chance to kidnap her and make ransom. But she don't want her dead or anything like that, she just wants money for her start over a new life. Oscar demanded an explanation from Callum and so he confessed. He says that her brother Prince Caspian is not dead and was just taken custody by his parents. He suspected that Cassidy is his brother and wants to free him from the cage the parents that made for her. Cassidy said that she was a girl not a boy. Callum asked if she knows the difference between a male from female because she was protected from the world. She blushes and said that she knows. She smiles when she hears that Callum is her brother, it seems that she wasn't even allowed to talk to her brother in the palace. When they went back to the palace, a guard attacked Cassidy but Dolores pushed away the guard and Madeleine and Callum killed the man. Or was it just Callum? I don't remember xD When they were inside the palace, she and Dolores were confined to a room while the nobles separated from them. Suddenly, guards came inside the room and accuses Madeleine of being the kidnapper. She was sent to the dungeon for a crime she never did. Oscar went to see her and explains that the parents of Cassidy wants to protect their reputation so they wanted to take the blame, and they choose Madeleine for it. She was confused about this and wondered why not Dolores? It seems that the King and Queen are trying to protect Dolores for some unknown reason.

Oscar

In here, Madeleine wears the necklace and talked to Oscar when they rested outside. They also kissed in here. Back to the dungeon! Madeleine warns Oscar not to do anything stupid and he reluctantly agrees. The next day, Oscar visited her, but not through the door but through the window. Madeleine was surprised and asked how did he get there. He says that he can climb as well and he even wears the gloves that Madeleine uses. I kinda forgot what happened next but the main point is that when Madeleine was freed from the dungeon, he embraces Oscar tightly. Cassidy was not happy when she heard that Madeleine was imprisoned and so she confronted her parents. Meanwhile the townspeople are getting angry because they say that Cassidy is an impostor and tries to invade the castle. Cassidy confronted her people saying that she gives herself up and they can do what they want with her but she wants an investigation/justice from this. A man was about to shoot her but he instead he got shot by her uncle, Pherod. Everyone was surprised because it seems that he was the leader but he says that he doesn't want it like that. After a while, the King and Queen announces Madeleine is innocent. The Queen wants to talk to them privately and so they did. The Queen said the reason that they want to protect Dolores was because she is the former Cassidy. It was revealed that Cassidy was indeed Caspian, a man who has a boy's body but a heart of a woman. The true Cassidy died when she was a baby and so they needed a replacement because they don't want the Queen's sister to get the throne. So they took a baby from their family's maids. When they made Caspian into Cassidy I don't know how the hell they did that because it wasn't explained O.O, they sent the baby Dolores and her mother into hiding with money. But her mother died and they lost connection with her. Years had passed, they leaned that Dolores was in an orphanage and so they took her as a page because they also got a soft spot for her. Dolores was surprised and angry to hear this but just drop it eventually. As for Cassidy, she accepted that she was Caspian but she will always be Cassidy because that's what she or he is. The Queen wants to grant Madeleine something for her help, and she chose that she wants a high rank in her Kingdom to which she gladly complied. In the good ending, Oscar proposed to her and Madeleine accepted with her head held high because she is not a guard anymore but a person with a high rank. They got married and they lived happily after that. The CG in here was so cute! I totally love Oscar at first sight but when I got to see the CG of Callum when he was looking at the sky, I fell for him xD Oscar is very gentle but also sometimes childish. In the bad ending, chose not to marry Oscar and she will be alone in the end. In the normal ending, he didn't propose to Madeleine.

Callum

Madeleine will talk to Callum when they are outside of palace walls to look for Cassidy. He looks way better in the CG than in the normal talking scenes. He's so hot  \(*^.^*)/! In here, Callum went to see Madeleine when she was imprisoned. Dolores was made to be his personal maid which angered Madeleine. She asked what was going on and Callum answered that he is also confused about the situation. When Callum was about to get out, he kissed Madeleine in which she also kissed back. To make the long story short, Madeleine was able to get out from the dungeon because Cassidy helped her. She even found out that she is Caspian in which she cried hard. But she remained being Cassidy. Callum offered Madeleine for her to stay in his kingdom and he will even grant him a high rank. In the good ending, Madeleine accepted the offer of Callum and so Madeleine and Callum got married and Oscar was courting Cassidy I'm not sure if Oscar knows that Cassidy isn't really a women. In the bad ending, Madeleine declined the offer of Callum and also decline to run away with Dolores in which Dolores shouted 'assassin' and the guards came rushing in holding Madeleine in custody while Dolores escaped. In the normal ending, Callum and Madeleine got married but Oscar leaves the kingdom saying that it was full of liars. I really do like Callum, actually I personally think that the true story of this game is his route, where she did get a happy end and Oscar also got a beautiful gf. That was weird... Cassidy is a boy... how will they make love if its like that? O.O .... I noticed that the drawing style are a bit different from one another, especially if the main protagonist are compared to the supporting characters. But oh well, Hanako games still did a good job :D

Nazagi

Madeleine will infiltrate his room by the key that was given to her by Dolores to find Cassidy. She got caught by Nazagi and he threatens her not to say anything about what she saw. She was confused at first but realizes that he was talking about the glasses that he was wearing. She assures her that she will not tell anyone and she explained what her motives are. Nazagi accepted this and lets her go. When she was in the dungeon, Nazagi came and says that something was not right because before, she was searching for the princess but now she was deemed a suspect. Madeleine worked together with Nazagi. She was freed from the prison with the help of Nazagi by food poisoning her and volunteering in healing her. Nazagi suspected that the real princess might be Dolores and Cassidy was an impostor. It was a crazy idea but Madeleine did think of it as a possibility. Nazagi confronts the King and Queen and leanrs the truth. He said to them that he will not tell the secret to anyone but in exchange he will get marry to Cassidy. Nazagi talks to Madeleine saying that Cassidy can't give offspring and he needed an heir. He offers Madeleine an offer of being his mistress, she will not be the queen but she will be treated equally with Cassidy. In the good ending, Madeleine, accepts the offer and kisses Nazagi. Years later, Nazagi is the king while Cassidy is the queen and Madeleine is the mistress of the king. They did live happily together after that. I actually wasn't expecting that, its not a threesome... I think Cassidy likes Madeleine in here because she blushed when Madeleine was talking with her and she's okay with the setup and everything. I also like what Madeleine was wearing in this CG, it really suits her. In the bad ending, Madeleine rejects the offer and Nazagi had no choice but to attack her. For safety measures, he injected something to Madeleine in which she forgots everything that happened between her and Nazagi. She went to back to the kingdom along with Oscar with a shame on her name. In the normal ending, Nazagi didn't offer anything to her and was taken back to her kingdom with Oscar. It seems that instead of Madeleine, Nazagi chose Dolores to be his mistress. Nazagi is quite handsome on the normal talking scenes but on the CG's... well... let's just say that his face are inverted or something like that.

Gaston

Madeleine decides to check Gaston's room and was caught by Gaston's maid named Colette. Gaston appears and misunderstands them to be friends. Madeleine explains that she was looking for clues on the whereabouts of the princess which made Gaston trust her quickly saying that he entrust her to look for the princess. In the dungeon, Colette visits her and accuses her being a beast women who broked the trust of Gaston. Madeleine can't entirely say the truth but she needs ally and so she says that Gaston is a great man and says something good about him but Colette wasn't satisfy with her words. Madeleine tells advices to Colette on how will Gaston make Cassidy like him. She listened to her and tells it to her master. The next day, Gaston visited her and was thankful of her advices but he was confuse if she really was a villain. Madeleine made Gaston contact the princess because it seems that Cassidy doesn't know that she was imprisoned. Cassidy came the next day with a disguise with her. Madeleine disguised as her and went to her room while Cassidy stays at the dungeon. She climb on the wall and went to Gaston's room. Gaston was happy to see her and he knows the truth now. Colette also opened up to her. When they discovered that Cassidy was in the prison and Madeleine was no where to be found, they searched for her and the king and queen locks Cassidy in Oscar's room where no one will suspect a thing. But Madeleine later finds out about this and went to Osca'rs room to talk to Cassidy. Cassidy says that she read a book about genders and finds out that she is neither a female or male. It is also later on revealed that Colette doesn't have any interest on the opposite sex but on the same sex. In the good ending, Madeleine will tell Cassidy to follow her heart and she agree on it. She talked to Gaston about her not being entirely women but surprised everyone with him taking off his wig. It is revealed that he is actually bald and he accepts Cassidy as who she is. This made Cassidy happy and propose Gaston to be her husband which he happily complied. Madeleine was proved to be innocent and was free to go. She decided to stay with Colette in the kingdom and support Gaston and Cassidy. I think the partner of Madeleine here is Colette because in the end they were together... So its yuri? x.x In the bad ending, Madeleine will tell Cassidy that she is Caspian. Cassidy then decided to travel with Callum to find her true self. Madeleine was forced to disguise as being Cassidy because they needed the princess. She reluctantly agreed. When she was entertaining a person, she got herself killed, the killer saying that they were right about her being an impostor. In the normal ending, Gaston and Cassidy will get marry but Madeleine decides that she will go back to her kingdom along with Oscar.

Overall: I have always thought that a prince is the heir to a kingdom but in here, a princess is the heir. It didn't even explain how they made Cassidy into a none gender being because she did say that she didn't have the what the male and female had meaning she didn't have a specific private part. The ending of Gaston and Nazagi Route was also weird for me... A threesome and a hint of yuri...? I'm not really into those stuff but Callum and Oscar's routes were the best of the story. Their are also ending where Madeleine will not be saved in the dungeon and Madeleine will run away with Dolores. The story is good but it confused me a little... But overall, the game is great!

Note: I was suppose to finish Amnesia Crowd but I got busy for the past few months and I can only afford to play in my pc for a little while so... yeah... I apologize... x.x And their might be mistakes for the story line of this because my memory gets easily confused @.@....
